MISSION
In 2020, we became aware of an increased need to help those with food insecurity due to reduced work hours for many people and the struggle to provide for their families. We were able to access some fresh produce and deliver it to families in need. Over the past four years, our food program has grown to serve over 120 families each week from all over the metro area. Each week we have a variety of fresh foods, produce, meat and dairy products.
From providing food for a family with young children to helping the elderly make ends meet with the rising cost of medication, we look to provide a little more security on where their next meal will come from.
Our mission is to help lighten the burden of food insecurity in our community. It is our intention that they receive not only food each week for their physical hunger, but kindness and grace to feed their spiritual and emotional needs.
The opportunity to help others continues to grow and we believe we can all play a part in seeing families have this basic need met so they focus on their other needs.
